10 Things CM Punk Could Have Done At WrestleMania 31

4. Match With Daniel Bryan

This would have been the ideal solution for Bryan, who isn't in the main event picture for this year's Mania after losing to Roman Reigns at Fast Lane. It is widely expected that the returning Sheamus will enter a programme with the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion. But in all honesty, who really cares about that? What's it going to achieve? It's just a case of getting two of the bigger names on the biggest card of the year. It has been well documented how Punk's departure from WWE last year opened the door for the insanely popular Bryan to head into Mania with a chance of winning the top belt. Something he did in one of the collectively best Mania performances in history. With Punk still in the company and not doing anything major (like he was before his run came to an end), and with Bryan returning from injury with no major push behind him to get the title rematch he is entitled to, this would have been the ideal time to set the pair off on a three or four month spectacular. Sadly, it looks like we'll never get to see this rivalry again.
