10 Things CM Punk Wants You To Forget About WWE

10. That He Won Pretty Much Every Title Going

Since making his debut on the main roster as part of the forever-doomed ECW brand in 2006, CM Punk has been given the opportunity to hold the following titles - the ECW Title, 3 reigns as World Heavyweight Champion, the World Tag-Team Championships, the Intercontinental Title, and 2 reigns as WWE Champion. That's quite the trophy cabinet, one which simply wouldn't be possible if WWE hadn't wanted it to. In fact, one of the only belts Punk never held in the promotion was the United States Championship, largely because he was never really given the chance to compete for it. Is that worth getting upset over? Absolutely not, CM Punk had quite the distinguished career whilst under Vince McMahon's employ. Listening to the man speak now, it'd be easy to believe that he wasn't ever given any opportunities, which is of course complete nonsense. One of the most decorated stars of the past decade, Punk achieved a lot during his tenure on the WWE roster, something he seems to forget quite readily.
