10 Things You Didn't Know About Randy Orton

10. CM Punk's Theme Was Originally Orton's

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHeGTXa0_p0 Randy Orton has had his fair share of entrance themes, with most of them being memorable in their own way, but did you know CM Punk's iconic "This Fire Burns" theme was intended for Orton? Before CM Punk adopted the theme, and made it fit much better, Randy Orton actually used the song on the March 3, 2006 edition of Friday Night Smackdown. The WWE was looking to replace his "Burn in my Light" theme in which he had used since 2004, but immediately switched back to the Mercy Drive tune the following week. Orton originally going to be one of the superstar themes changed in order to promote WWE's "Wreckless Intent" album that was released in May of that year. The WWE also used the song as the official theme for Judgment Day 2006. Randy Orton, who has also had themes by Motorhead and Rev Theory would eventually settle on "Voices" a few years later, the theme in which he continues to use today.
