6. Jimmy Began On His Own

Initially only Jimmy was signed by WWE and sent down to FCW (the developmental territory at the time that would soon be replaced by NXT), due to the fact that Jey had a lingering knee issue that required surgery. So during that time Jimmy had to go it alone Jey went back to work in the real world so he could earn money to pay for his surgey--since it happened outside of WWE--while he watched his brother on YouTube. While he was on the outside looking in he spent a lot of time with Reigns, who made the decision that he was going to follow in his cousins' footsteps, getting signed right on the heels of The Usos' debut. Jey left the hospital and immediately called the company to let them know he was on the mend and ready to come in, and he joined his brother in FCW soon after.
