10 Things We Learned From The Usos On Talk Is Jericho

5. The Breakthrough Match vs. The Shield

The Usos got a decent start in WWE, with their first real feud being against The Hart Dynasty, but the overall lackluster state of the tag team division and a lack of any of the higher-ups taking a real interest in them had their careers stalling out before too long, and the brothers started really languishing. It wasn't until the summer of 2013 when things started to look up for the duo, going on a winning streak and being named number one contenders to the tag team championship, which lead to a title match against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at Money In The Bank. The brothers credit the match as their breakthrough performance, stating that when they returned to the back they received an ovation, getting props from veterans on their performance and how they were able to get the crowd into it. That was the moment they caught Vince's eye and earned the trust of WWE management, and they've been on an upward trajectory ever since.
