10 Things New WWE Fans Need To Know

6. Expect Filler Content

The fact that there is a ton of TV time each week is quite easy to see. The fact that WWE feels the need to fill that time with segments that are meaningless is another story in itself. I often wonder, if I were a new fan, what would keep my interest while watching? Far too often, I find that the product seems to be uneventful whereby the lack of long term stories and matches that have no stakes or consequences are more prevalent than not.

Remember in school when you had certain teachers who made you copy things out of a textbook? Or when they would make you write out the question before answering? We called this "busy work", and it was annoying. We have established that WWE has too much time on its hands but the shows now feel like the busy work we used to get in school. It seems like a good idea to take up time, but it disappoints the audience.

New and old fans of WWE should want to see shows that are jam packed with stories and action that lead them to actually want those million hours of programming. The WWE can make this right by establishing characters, stories, and stakes for the performers to work by.
