10 Things Post-WrestleMania 36 Raw Told Us About WWE’s Future

1. Get Used To Inconsequential Shows

These are strange times, and everyone is gonna' have to get used to some inconsequential episodes of WWE telly now that WrestleMania is out of the way. For example, if the company do go ahead with Money In The Bank on 10 May (which would surely be taped at the PC), then expect loads of qualifying matches shortly.

That's almost guaranteed.

So is a state of staleness. It's hardly uncommon for WWE to autopilot the period immediately following 'Mania, and 2020 shouldn't be any different. In fact, they might leave that auto setting on a little longer this year to ride out the lockdown that's keeping them away from touring in front of fans.

It's doubtful that WWE will go all in on wacky pre-taped bouts like 'Mania's 'Boneyard' and 'Firefly Fun House' matches for good. They were deliberately booked that way to give the biggest pay-per-view of the year a unique flavour. Raw, SmackDown and NXT will be much more standard.

Monday's show proved it.
