We all know people that work far too hard to be cool. Their every word seems designed to get across the idea that that is the case and 99.99% of the time it couldn't be further from the truth. That is true for Roman Reigns. Whether he is failing at quipping someone else's words or smiling at Lesnar as he gets beaten up, it all seems designed to get across the idea that this guy is cool. Sadly, it instead convinces the audience he is nothing of the sort. On the other hand, Bayley is the opposite of cool. She likes hugs and has silly entrance music and is all in all a bit of a dork, and yet she is ten times cooler than Roman Reigns. Because she isn't trying to be cool. She is just having fun, and that is instantly awesome. Bayley is that person who you shouldn't like but, after five minutes in her company, you can't help but fall in love with. She's just that cool. By trying to make Roman Reigns the coolest guy in the room, WWE has done a great job of making him the lamest. It is a mistake that is going to take a lot of time to fix, but the starting point is to stop trying to make him cool and just hoping that he finds his way there on his own. I mean just look at the guy. It really shouldn't be that hard.
