8. The Stardust Gimmick Will Be Dropped

Cody Rhodes has done a really well as Stardust since he came back last month. After his father Dusty died two months ago, a lot of people wanted him to go back to being Cody while he said he was told by his father to "finish what you started" with the gimmick.

By finishing what he started, that means the feud with Stephen Amell, which will lead to a match at SummerSlam. That's probably going to be a loss for Stardust with his partner King Barrett and after that, who knows what is next for him?

Cody is such a talented performer that he could thrive as a main event level talent using the Cody Rhodes name. While he has openly talked about not wanting to necessarily live off his dad's name, it's not like it would be a bad thing to use a name fans are familiar with.

While he has ha a pretty decent run as Stardust, it's probably not going to be a long term thing for him the way Goldust was for his brother when he started it about 20 years ago. Look for the Cody Rhodes name to return soon.
