10 Things That HAVEN'T Totally Sucked About WWE In 2021
9. WrestleMania 37 In General
WrestleMania's latest instalment was an all-round stellar weekend, however, that likely would never have been the case had fans not been welcomed back for the occasion.
Hosting just over 25,000 fans per night, the 37th 'Showcase of the Immortals' was chock-full of captivating moments, ranging from historic title victories to what must be one of wrestling's greatest ever celebrity bouts, both of which will be discussed in more depth a tad later on.
Even away from the main talking points, though, 'Mania 37 delivered.
Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon's steel cage match, as dull and needless as that story was, saw the latter take a respectable back bump from atop the cage, flipping Swanton Bomb-style onto the hard mat below. Your writer's distaste for 'The Best In The World' being booked for the sake of being booked was swept aside here for that bump alone.
Elsewhere, Omos' in-ring debut saw the big man impress massively, instantly cementing himself as a credible big man, whereas Sheamus booting the sh*t out of Riddle mid-air via Brogue Kick was an immense way to begin 'The Celtic Warrior's' third run as United States Champion.
In short, WrestleMania 37 was a splendid show, with the limited capacity audience merely adding some flavour to the 10 and 11 April weekend. 16 July can't come soon enough.
