3. Brock Lesnar Addresses Goldberg This Week
So far, WWE has done a really great job of building round three of Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg.
After Goldberg tore through Lesnar in a matter of minutes at Survivor Series, he then dispatched him from the Royal Rumble in even quicker time. With their rivalry just begging for one final encounter, Lesnar and Paul Heyman soon challenged Goldberg to a decider at WrestleMania, with Goldberg duly accepting the following week on Raw. All in all, it's been as simple as it has been effective.
Since then, though, we haven’t heard anything more on the subject, despite Lesnar being in the building the night Goldberg accepted his challenge.
On the one hand, that’s a good thing as it’s allowed Goldberg’s Universal Championship match with Kevin Owens to assume centre stage. But on the flipside, it seems a shame not to be using Lesnar when he’s already committed to being brought in for an appearance.
Lesnar is indeed scheduled to be present for next week’s show, so rather than having him remain mum on the matter, it wouldn’t hurt for him and Heyman (but mostly Heyman) to give us a gentle and timely reminder as to what’s in store at WrestleMania.
