The RAW Tag division is in a weird place at the moment. The New Day held the belts for so long that it was always going to a little weird seeing someone else carrying them, and the fact that WWE had to merge rivals Sheamus and Cesaro into an admittedly brilliant tag team shows just how shallow the division is.

While the Club retaining would continue their much-needed dominant streak, it’s difficult to see exactly who they could feud with going forward, without simply continuing their already slightly tiresome rivalry with Enzo & Cass and Sheamus & Cesaro.

Just like with Baron Corbin, Enzo and Cass winning at WrestleMania gives us a nice narrative arc – they debuted on the RAW after Mania last year, and win the tag titles the following year. The Realest Guys winning after a chaotic ladder match would also be a great feel-good moment to start the show off on a high, and could be a refreshing change of pace.

That is, until WWE sits down to figure out where the division goes next.
