10 Things That Would Happen If Vince Russo Returned To WWE Today

2. Bayley Turns Heel

Angry Bayley
WWE

'It was me, Izzy! It was me all along!'

An enraged Bayley opens Raw explaining exactly why she ripped her former super-fan's headband off as she pulled her over the guardrail in a frantic assault following yet another defeat to WWE Women's Champion Alexa Bliss on last week's episode.

Despite months of teases that it would be Sasha jabbing the knife in her best friend's back, it was Bayley that snapped, first bloodying and brutalising 'The Boss' before turning her ire on the little girl that had lovingly supported her from her earliest Full Sail appearances right through to her WrestleMania 33 bow earlier this year.

Alexa Bliss is a top heel Champion of course, which leaves Bayley without an immediate rival, especially after her attack on Sasha put Banks out 'for life'. Or something like that anyway, that's what we had the commentators say but we'll work on that next week. And those 'Hugger' shirts were already securing the downpayment on Vince McMahon's newest speedboat. No matter, scrap 'em. Truthfully, she's not all that convincing in the role either, and most fans aren't buying what she's selling. Her demeanour was organic and pure, the company weren't half as good at writing her as a babyface as she was portraying it. It'll probably work out though, right?

Why has this all even happened in the first place?

"BRO, YOU NEVER SAW IT COMING."
