CM Punk will become World Heavyweight Champion eventually. It was on the booking sheets before he had to pull out of 'Mania due to injuries, but Triple H won't give up on one of 2023's most controversial signings that easily. Punk will seize the day once he's healthy, but...what comes next?

During his earliest showings in AEW, Punk couldn't resist trolling a few folks and getting easy pops by running down people like Hulk Hogan. He also dissed WWE, so it'll be fun to see what he chooses to do once that World Title rests snugly over his shoulder during the second half of 2024.

Do not be shocked if Punk takes a few jabs at AEW, Tony Khan and The Young Bucks along the way. Of course, he shouldn't. There's no need, and Punk/WWE would 100% deserve the same head-shaking Khan gets whenever he spews ill-advised comments onto socials or in the media about 'the other company'.
