Make no mistake - there's a good chance CM Punk will lose his MMA debut. Possibly a bigger chance that he will lose it than win it. Why? No matter who the UFC pairs him up against, chances are they have more time in the gym, in training, than Punk. He's jumping into his MMA career late, with relatively little experience. Even another 0-0 fighter may have spent more time sparring, years training as a kid, etc. Punk simply cannot turn back the clock and change things. His attempt to make it in the UFC is admirable, and there's nothing to be ashamed of should he lose. Just consider the possibility, even the likelihood, as something to expect.
