10 Things To Expect From CM Punk's UFC Debut

1. It Will Be At UFC 200

At UFC 200, the stars may actually align. Consider this: Ronda Rousey will likely rematch Holly Holm at UFC 200. That much, the promotion has already announced. Conor McGregor won big at UFC 194. He's now the UFC's undisputed featherweight champion. They would no doubt like him on the card as well, and may sit him out until that date. Rousey and McGregor represent the two biggest draws currently active in the UFC. The promotion will be using UFC 100 - which had 1.6 million buys - as the bench mark for this event. They'd like all the star power they can get at UFC 200. So CM Punk making his debut on that card makes sense. UFC 100 had Brock Lesnar and Georges St. Pierre, the two biggest stars of their era. UFC 200 with Rousey, McGregor, and Punk could rival that show. You can definitely expect them to aim for this event to be Punk's debut - and it would give their marketing arm plenty of time to build hype.
