10 Things We Learned About AEW’s Blood & Guts On Talk Is Jericho

3. He Thinks The Bump “Looked Amazing”

Twitter blew up with sarky comments about how "fake" Jericho's big bump looked. Loads of wrestling fans disliked the camera angle AEW's producers had chosen too, because they thought it exposed the fact that Jericho had landed on a big crash mat (in reality, it was all those cardboard boxes).

Jericho disagrees with such negativity.

He doesn't mind hardcore fans ragging on it though, "because that's their right". Still, to him, it's more important to think about what the wider/casual audience thought of the spectacle. Plus, he remembers the shocked response inside Daily's Place from the live crowd, and recalls having the wind knocked out of him by the landing.

Later, when he looked back over footage, Jericho wondered why so many fans hated it. His only real worry was that he almost clocked his head on some ring lights on the way down. That could've knocked him out and made the fall less-controlled.
