10 Things We Learned About AEW’s Blood & Guts On Talk Is Jericho

2. His Wife & Kids Gave Him Hell

Twitter trolls had nothing on Jericho's wife and kids.

The Inner Circle boss didn't tell his family about the big bump finish in advance, and they were seething that he'd taken such a risk. Nobody needed to tell Jericho about that though; he was nervous all day about the fall, and even paused to think about Owen Hart's Over The Edge 1999 tragedy.

The dramatic conclusion to Blood & Guts wasn't even 100% Jericho's idea. MJF and Tony Khan had both brought similar opinions to the table, and everyone eventually (after some hesitation on Jericho's part) agreed that it'd give the match a massive talking point. That didn't stop Jericho from fretting.

His wife Jessica wasn't thrilled when she and the kids sat down to watch the show back home. They would've appreciated a little heads up from Jericho about the stunt, but they weren't gonna' get it. Chris was too focused on making sure he could perform the fall safely.
