Stop the press.

Bruce Prichard claims it was actually Jim Cornette, of all people, who first clapped eyes on young Stephanie and wondered aloud why his superiors wouldn't put her on television. Again, Prichard went for laughs by remarking 'Corny' said, "God damn, why isn't that big-t*tted b*tch on TV?". Quite, Jim, quite.

Whilst Cornette probably didn't say exactly that, he did suggest that Steph should be on camera from the late-'90s onwards. That means the old-school wrestling advocate is directly responsible for all those Stephanie moments her critics have come to know and hate; there's something mildly twisted about the fact a staunch 'wrasslin' supporter like Cornette would pitch more McMahon presence on programming.

Up until now, most fans likely believed nepotism from Vince himself was at play. There would've been a touch of that, naturally, though not before one James E. Cornette spoke up. It'll be interesting to see how Cornette responds to Prichard's claim.
