1. His Triple H Anger Is Still There

Cody won't reveal exactly what he and Triple H spoke about privately during 'Mania weekend. He was willing to tell Satin that it was a positive interaction and "a nice moment", but then incredibly offered that "anger remains" because of old wounds opened during his first spell with WWE.

Hunter left his boots in the ring at WrestleMania 38, and Rhodes isn't expecting him to lace them back up again for a match with him. However, he does love the thought of working through some animosity with Trips in-ring. That's what he and brother Dustin did during their bloody classic at AEW's Double Or Nothing 2019.

That war brought them closer together.

This is the unique mindset of pro wrestlers. Doing battle and producing stunning matches breeds kinship, and that's something Cody wishes he could do with Triple H. He's very much keeping an open mind on it, and still says "if" on a Hunter comeback.
