10 Things We Learned From Jon Moxley's WWE Shoot On Talk Is Jericho

3. Vince McMahon Cried When He Said He Was Leaving

That made Vincent Kennedy McMahon very sad indeed.

When he'd decided that enough was enough and that he wanted out of WWE, Moxley went to find Triple H and McMahon to inform them of his plans. Trips heard the news first, and he took it a little better than Vince; when Jon told McMahon that he was off-ski, the boss broke down in tears and started crying.

This isn't something we as fans hear a lot about when it comes to Vince. He's notoriously business-minded, so it's not every day one learns that he's been bawling his eyes out over the thought of talent fleeing his nest. That's what happened when Dean Ambrose told WWE he didn't want to be called that anymore. He wanted the creative freedom of Jon Moxley, and he wanted it outside WWE's walls.

During the meeting, McMahon again reiterated his surprise that Moxley was unhappy. That irritated Jon, because he'd made it painfully clear for a few years that things weren't as fun as they used to be and that change was inevitable whether WWE liked it or not.
