Making his debut on Nitro in September of that year, Bill Goldberg was already well on the road to becoming a huge star by the end of 1997. Kevin Nash had actually known Bill for years before he entered pro wrestling, and Scott Hall quickly became friends with the red-hot rookie too.

Almost taking Goldberg under their collective wing, The Outsiders offered to travel with Bill. During one car journey, the subject of money came up, and the nWo members realised just how little Goldberg was making despite rapidly becoming an established star. That's when they put him in touch with Barry Bloom, who was their own agent.

Through Bloom, Goldberg was able to broker a better deal with WCW management. Nash is quick to tell Sean Oliver that he was never making anything on the level of Hall or himself, but they were glad to help out and see Goldberg's contract improve from that point.

To this day, Nash says he is still confused that people think he and Goldberg have any heat with one another.
