10 Things We Learned From Mick Foley On Stone Cold’s Broken Skull Sessions Podcast

1. Why He’s Not Hot On WWE’s Current Titles

Austin handed Mick his very own custom WWE Title belt early in the interview, and Foley seemed genuinely touched that he was allowed to keep the thing. Then, he went on a mini-rant about the classic 'Winged Eagle' championship and joked that he wasn't knocking the current titles.

Steve: "Yeah you are". Brilliant.

Mick had to confess that he's not a fan of the current designs, chiefly 'cause he doesn't think "they need to have the WWE logo quite as big". The legend knows why the company do that (they want WWE to be front and centre when champions carry those titles to media appearances or on the road), but it doesn't appeal to him.

Most of the current belts have a similar design motif too, and that's something else Foley isn't sweet on. It's pretty interesting to hear somebody (gently) bash WWE's current product on their own programming.
