There were one or two suggestions last year that stories relating to Paige's personal life would see the upcoming biopic of which she was the subject - Wrestling With My Family - get canned.

It didn't happen, and so far as we're aware plans to release the movie - which stars Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey, Shaun of the Dead's Nick Frost and The Rock himself (as, you know, himself) - are still very much in the pipeline.

Paige, however, admitted to Garcia that the thought did cross her mind - and usually that sort of thought crosses one's mind when a jittery film studio starts to put out noises that all is not well.

Could it have actually been cancelled? Perhaps, although with a guy like Dwayne Johnson - who is nothing if not sympathetic to the travails of being a scrutinised and over-worked professional wrestler - backing its corner, there was also a good chance that the makers would decide to ride through the storm instead. Which, thankfully, they did.
