10 Things We Learned From Roman Reigns On WWE’s After The Bell

8. WrestleMania 36 Would've Been His "Fifth Star"

Who knew that Roman counts WrestleMania headline appearances as "stars"?

The guy treats each main event berth on the biggest pay-per-view of the year as another badge he can pin to his breast with pleasure. On ATB, he acknowledged that he was in line to close out one of the 'Mania 36 nights opposite Bill Goldberg, and expressed annoyance that they weren't able to.

The cancellation of his match meant a big moment for Braun Strowman, but it also meant that Reigns was watching the show from his couch back home. Taking himself out of the game, whilst noble and definitely something he'd do again, robbed him of a surefire, lusted-after "fifth star".

It'll come, let's be honest about it. WWE will likely install Reigns as the main attraction at next year's WrestleMania 37 whether the ongoing health crisis is still blighting the globe or not. He'll make up for lost time, although not against Goldberg.
