9. She Emailed Wrestling Schools When She Was 12

Yes, that is a child dressed as the Boss and not what Sasha Banks looked like as a kid, but the real deal did have the same spirit. As a bright-eyed 12-year old, Sasha decided to email a bunch of different wrestling schools in both the United States and Canada to see if they'd be interested in training her. She got the usual answers telling her to come back when she was 16-18 and try again.

Years later, Sasha watched Rob Van Dam's 'One Of A Kind' DVD set and was pushed in a different direction for a while. Van Dam's influence actually led to her training to do some MMA, and she'd go on to become a brown belt in Muay Thai. Hilariously however, Banks liked to pretend MMA was just another form of wrestling training.

When it became clear she was more likely to be punched full force in the face than learn how to bump, Sasha finally decided to give up martial arts and focus fully on pro wrestling. Around the same time, she was left horrified upon learning all was not as it seemed in WWE...
