One thing wrestling fans constantly hear during shoot interviews or on podcasts is how hard done by certain wrestlers were during their careers. It was all the promoter's fault, they whine, before refusing to take responsibility for their own actions. That isn't quite how Al Snow views things, and it's refreshing.

In Al's mind, someone like Vince McMahon gives every wrestler the chance to shine. Sure, there are ups and downs, but it's ultimately the performer's job to make the best of what they're given and push their way into something more meaningful. That's always what Snow tried to do with every gimmick or idea he was handed.

The performer's task (set by the promotion, who provide the platform) is to create something both wrestler and promoter can exploit for financial gain. It sounds pretty simple when put that way, and it's nice to know Al isn't bitter in the slightest that he never got to headline WrestleMania or become WWE Champion.
