Here's something a little more positive, and surprisingly deep.

McAfee quizzed Vince on how he still finds the energy to workout despite creeping into his late-70s. The WWE overseer's reply? "A lot of it is for my head more than my body". Explaining further, McMahon called weights sessions "the only socially acceptable way of releasing aggression".

Vince needs those late-night workouts to get through the never-ending volume of work he does day-to-day as WWE leader. Pat was flabbergasted when his boss revealed that he typically finishes workouts at around 3am most days - he starts at 1.30am, or therein thereabouts.

Those intense sessions are therapy for McMahon, and they're especially helpful when a lot of the work he does is emotion-based and dealing with people. Confirming that he's a cyborg, Vince also added: “I don’t really have a down day”. He's content with that, 'cause "this isn't work".

Lifting weights is a release for the man.
