10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: The Year Of Ronda Rousey
8. Her WrestleMania 31 Anxiety
Years before her official WWE arrival at Royal Rumble 2018, Rousey made a show-stealing cameo midway through 2015's WrestleMania 31, linking up with The Rock to confront a self-congratulatory Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The whole angle was a piece of smart long-term planning for a potential mixed-tag match sometime down the line - a match eventually cashed-in last year, albeit with Hollywood's Johnson switched for Kurt Angle.
There was obviously a lot riding on such a high-profile appearance, but Rousey, making her tentative first steps into the world of professional wrestling had no anxiety whatsoever - save for one thing. Despite her incredible athleticism and consummate cool, Ronda was panic stricken that she might fail to leap the waist-high barricade separating her from the action. Thankfully, she didn't have a Shockmaster moment, and the future of women's wrestling was safe.
