As Shane’s time with his father’s World Wrestling Federation continued, the eldest of Vince’s offspring would end up serving as a producer – to the point where he was tasked with producing his old man!

We’ve all heard those famous stories over the years of just how much of a control freak Vince McMahon is, not to mention how awful it is for those who’ve got McMahon in their ears producing them, but the boot was on the other foot back during the early days of Monday Night Raw.

With Kevin Dunn barking orders at Shane from backstage, Shane had to serve as a go-to point between Dunn and Vince. It sounds awful, it sounds thankless, yet the footage shown on Photo Shoot suggested Shane actually had some fun with the job - even though he would have to battle against his father often changing things up on the fly.

One fun part of the gig back then was that Shane O’Mac was the person tasked with getting the in-attendance crowd amped up ahead of Raw’s broadcast commencing. And for those of us who remember those days, it was also all kinds of fun to see “Macho Man” Randy Savage alongside Vince at the commentary table.
