10 Things We Learned From WWE Raw (April 10)

9. A New Day

The New Day may have been robbed of a significant programme since their record breaking tag team title reign was halted last December, but they've been outstanding in what appears to be their final bow as a Monday Night Raw squad.

With their two consecutive and conclusive jobs to The Revival since WrestleMania, Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston have proved their worth as utility men and given Dash and Dawson the best possible start on the main roster.

Though the contest slightly crumbled towards the end, the remainder of the rematch for Kofi's honour was an absorbing taste of what the former two time NXT Tag Team champions can bring to the fold.

With The Hardy Boyz now reigning supreme, the longterm option seems to be the brothers eventually tackling the talented pair as they remarkably continue their year working against the industry's best units.

A Revival/American Alpha do-over would have been a tantalising option for the division next, but with Jordan and Gable remaining on the blue brand for the time being, it will be a host of new faces the two old schoolers will get to ply their excellent double teaming trade against in the weeks and months ahead.
