10 Things We Learned From WWE WrestleMania Weekend 2022

2. Tony Khan REALLY Doesn't Want To Run WrestleMania Weekend

Tony Khan's illuminating answers during the post-Supercard Of Honor press scrum were those of a man with an awful lot on his plate at the moment.

It's a self-imposed over-stuffing of course, but the new Ring Of Honor owner electing to take up the booking and running of the promotion alongside his AEW duties could lead to a number of new and unexpected challenges. One being the prospect of having to work at least one night in WrestleMania's host city thanks to ROH's annual event as part of the facilities.

Khan made absolutely no secret of his desire to "get back to Jacksonville" as soon as possible, and doubled down on the remarks about never running an All Elite show anywhere near the opposition's biggest event of the year. After a member of the media asked about the legacy of the ROH show, he did at least take that point under consideration.
