10 Things We Need To See Before WWE's Bloodline Saga Ends
7. Solo’s Character Development
The Bloodline story has been, unusually for modern day WWE especially, built with real patience. While some fans see this as the bookers dragging their heels, the slow burn has allowed for some measured, layered character notes, most recently in the form of Solo Sikoa’s gradual dissatisfaction with his lot in all of this.
Breaking through to the main roster nearly a year ago, Sikoa was an instant classic as a wrestling enforcer, doling out spikes and uranages at Roman’s behest, rarely wanting more out of life than to beat people up.
Over time, we’ve been allowed to see Solo strain against the role. The then-Bloodline Usos let him down in a trios match, Roman lost them the tag bout against Jimmy and Jey. Now, at SummerSlam, Reigns had the temerity to bark orders at the one guy who seems to be holding everything together.
It’s fully expected that this will soon enough come to a head, and what they do with Solo will be fascinating. Expanding his character without losing a mystique isn’t an easy task, but so far, Sikoa has been the equal of everything put in front of him.
