3. Mighty Mouse?
One of the biggest questions surrounding Neville is 'when is he going to be brought up to the main roster?'. Neville has been wrestling on NXT TV for over two years now, having made his debut on the January 16th 2013 episode of the show. Although all NXT wrestlers coming from Japan or the indies need some seasoning and re-training in NXT, Neville has been ready for at least six months now. But fans might not be so quick to call for his promotion if they knew what WWE had in store for him when he does get to the main roster. It was widely reported in late 2014 that WWE intended to repackage Neville with a gimmick as Mighty Mouse. Yes, the cartoon character whose popularity peaked in the 1950s. Considering how poorly some NXT stars have been treated since being called up to the main roster, it would hardly be a surprise to see Neville be given a comical gimmick like this. Vince McMahon apparently wanted to use the gimmick for Chris Candido in the mid-90s so it's clearly something he's felt strongly about doing for some time. Here's hoping that they don't saddle Neville with a potentially career-killing gimmick like this. If they did want to give him a costume, they should go the Marvel superhero route or something like that.
Anything but Mighty Mouse (although he does have the ears for it).
