10 Things WWE Fans Need To Know About AJ Styles

6. Can Mix It Up With All Shapes And Sizes

Something which will serve AJ Styles well in WWE is that he can work against almost anybody. Previously, one of AJ's key strengths was bumping around like a maniac for larger grapplers like Abyss in TNA. It's true that Styles isn't the largest wrestler around, and even at 5ft 11 inches he will look averagely sized in WWE, but he has found ways to work around that. Looking at AJ's match against Abyss from TNA's Lockdown 2005 pay-per-view, there's a lot to admire. After years of working typical Ring Of Honor-style main events and bouts against performers of a similar stature, it would have been easy for Styles to struggle against someone the size of his Steel Cage Match opponent. That wasn't the case, and he managed to shine instead. In WWE, there are loads of performers the same size as Styles. Naturally, he will click immediately with performers with Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose. Then, there are larger grapplers like John Cena and The Big Show. If tasked with working these men, AJ's experience of mixing it with guys bigger than himself will aid his chances.
