Whisper it: The Dudleys' return hasn't been an absolute knock-out so far. Just having them on WWE TV every week makes it better by proxy, but it just doesn't feel like there's been any real heat in their current feud with The New Day - all the more confusing given that New Day are easily the best thing to hit the tag division in years. The components are all there, so what's missing? Why isn't this the best damn tag team title feud in a decade? Put simply: there's just no actual story here. The Dudleys have made it clear that they're back for tag team gold, and The New Day touched on a fun byline with the whole Save The Tables thing, but beyond that it just feels like they're trading wins on Raw every week with nothing really underscoring it all. The New Day showed some real malice on Raw recently when they took out The Dudleys alongside Cena and Ziggler to finish the show. Utilise that. Funny heels should also be able to switch it on to become real a-holes when the time sees fit. Let's get some backstage action, some dastardly tricks and some more mic time between these two teams and build something that fans can be more invested in. Then, whether it's The New Day ultimately continuing their reign or The Dudleys topping off their comeback with some long overdue tag team gold, it'll make for TV worth tuning into. That is, as long as WWE pays attention to this next point...
