10 Things The WWE Did Right In 2014

9. Making Luke Harper & Erick Rowan Relevant Post-Wyatt Family

Outside of The Shield, the Wyatt Family was one of the most dominant factions the WWE has seen in recent memory. After a feud with Chris Jericho, the entire Wyatt Family went on a small hiatus. After a month of no sign of them, the famous vignettes would return with the purpose of them to show us that Bray has set Harper and Rowan free to go on their own paths. Wyatt would return to cost Dean Ambrose his match at Hell In A Cell; while the status of Harper & Rowan were up in the air. That question was answered in the weeks leading up to the traditional Survivor Series match between Team Cena and Team Authority. Luke Harper was a team player and decided to join The Authority after he delivered a lifeless Dolph Ziggler in their office; while Erick Rowan joined Team Cena because he was tired of being bullied. Harper's great work has been rewarded with an Intercontinental Championship win over Dolph Ziggler, and they will continue to feud through the TLC pay per view in what should be an amazing ladder match of the IC strap. Erick Rowan has continued to play the babyface role very well and has stood up to the turncoat Big Show. Rowan is also being perceived as a genius, but still has the mentality of a child, and that is a great start to evolve and build on a character. Seeing Harper and Rowan flourish post-Wyatt Family is one thing the WWE did right in 2014.
