8. Giving Paige The WWE Diva's Championship On Her First Night
Most people know how decorated of a wrestler Paige is at the early age of 22. She has been wrestling for nearly a decade all over the world, and had a shelf full of titles before she even came to the WWE. Once she was signed to a developmental contract, Paige immediately started to impress in NXT with matches against the likes of Emma and Natalya. The night after WrestleMania 30 this year was when Paige made her highly anticipated main roster debut. She was there to congratulate AJ Lee on surviving a 14-Diva one fall to the finish match set up by Vickie Guerrero. Instead of expressing gratitude, AJ slapped Paige and challenged her to a match. As a "post-Wrestlemania treat" AJ put her title on the line. It was a rather quick match, and Paige hit the Paige Turner finisher to get the pinfall. Giving someone with the pedigree of Paige the WWE title on her first night of the main roster (regardless of age) was one of the things the WWE did right in 2014.
