10 Things The WWE Did Right In 2014

6. Making NXT Must See Television

Finn Balor As part of a web-only show, there were not many eyes watching NXT. Once the WWE Network launched this past February, NXT was one of the first weekly shows to be added every Thursday Night. The NXT Arrival special was the first special live event (akin to a pay per view) to ever air on the WWE Network as well. The network has put a lot more eyes on NXT; meaning more people were seeing how great of a show this is. To many people, NXT is a better show with a different feel. Triple H has not only been instrumental in the creative direction of NXT, but for also signing some of the best indy wrestlers of the past decade with Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn, Hideo Itami, Finn Balor, and Kevin Owens. All five guys will be involved in the NXT Takeover: Evolution special this week. Something special has been built here, and one of the big things that the WWE did right in 2014.
