10 Things WWE Super ShowDown 2020 Told Us About WrestleMania 36
9. New Day Will Get Their Rematch
Speaking of multi-team tag matches.
The Miz and John Morrison's big SmackDown Tag Title win over New Day on Thursday could've been held off for WrestleMania 36. Yes, it could have, but WWE love booking at least one championship change on most of their pay-per-views, so it was no surprise the latest (occasionally standalone) Saudi special followed suit.
Expect Kofi Kingston and Big E to get their rematch in Tampa, possibly with a returning Xavier Woods either at ringside or replacing one of them inside the ring. It's unlikely to be a straight up two-on-two affair though; the most likely scenario is a Fatal-4-Way tag also involving teams like The Usos or Heavy Machinery.
This is an easy way for WWE to cram as many faces onto the 'Mania card for those sough-after paydays as possible. Booking another Miz/Morrison vs. New Day match feels like something that'll happen on SmackDown before the new champs defend against The Usos at Elimination Chamber.
