10 Things WWE Want You To Forget About 2015

8. Billy Gunn Fired For PED Use

Billy Gunn, aka Monty Sopp, the man with a Muppet's name and a fixation on people's bottoms, is no longer with WWE, after the company discovered he had been suspended from the sport of powerlifting for taking performance enhancing drugs, and fired him. Allegedly, Gunn received his suspension after tests revealed that he had nine times the legal limit of testosterone in his bloodstream. NINE TIMES. He had so much man-hormone inside him that I'm surprised he wasn't covered in fur and coughing up entire bears. This is a tough blow for the company, what with Gunn being such a public figure for WWE. After all, he had a nostalgic run with the tag belts as part of the New Age Outlaws with Road Dogg back in 2014, ran in on HHH's match against Sting at WM31 and was a front-and-centre part of shows like Tough Enough that documented the work being done at the Performance Centre, where Gunn worked as a trainer. After all the steroid and substance abuse scandals of its past, WWE cannot afford to have anyone on their roster be caught flaunting its Wellness Program, especially someone in authority like Billy Gunn, someone who's been tasked with fostering the talent of tomorrow. Mr Ass is gone and his association with the company is, WWE hopes, soon to be forgotten.
