10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Survivor Series

4. The Ultimate Warrior Removed In 1992 "Main Event" Match

Survivor Series 92 Match The Ultimate Maniacs were a short lived duo comprised of the Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage, both of whom were huge babyfaces at the time. They were all set to take on the heel team of Ric Flair and Razor Ramon in the biggest match at Survivor Series 1992. Then when we got to Survivor Series, Warrior was gone. Mr. Perfect was in his place. It was a pretty good tag match and it was unique because we were used to Mr. Perfect as a heel for the previous four years or so. Seeing him getting cheered like that was pretty cool. Still, it confused a lot of us that were "little Warriors" at the time that wondered what happened to him. Of course WWE didn't want to say what really happened because they never do. Warrior missed the show because he was having contract with disputes with WWE and he also failed a steroid test. That's not a surprise if you saw what he looked like. They brought him back to the company months earlier and wanted to make him World Champion again. It didn't happen because he was eventually fired. He was brought back about four years later. We never knew what happened to Warrior back then. That's because WWE wanted us to forget.
