10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Triple H

5. That The Ultimate Warrior Instantly Recovered From A Pedigree To Beat Him In 100 Seconds At WrestleMania 12

When your entrance is longer than the actual match, it's never a good thing. That was the case here for Triple H in his WrestleMania debut against the returning Ultimate Warrior. Hunter had Sable in his corner and they were even calling her that on commentary, so the name for her was in place around this this time. The match was very short. Triple H attacked early on and even hit the Pedigree after about 45 seconds. Warrior popped right up, though. That never happens. It did here. Warrior made the big comeback, hit the clotheslines and the shoulder tackles. A Gorilla Press followed by the big splash finished off Hunter and Warrior pinned him. The total match time was 1:40. Warrior's return really didn't last very long in 1996, but this win was memorable just because it came against a guy that went on to win so many titles in WWE. When talking about Hunter's great accomplishments, WrestleMania 12 is rarely mentioned. It's understandable why that is.
