10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About 2020

9. Two Of Raw's Major Shake-Ups Flopped

Retribution The Undertaker
WWE

Years from now, wrestling fans will giggle when they think of Retribution, and the stable will litter 'Worst Of' lists analysing crappy collectives. Perhaps the only mercy for WWE's phoned-in Slipknot cover band is that it hasn't been the only failure blighting Raw's landscape.

Remember 'Raw Underground'?

Shane McMahon claimed that the seedy fighting ring concept would change Monday nights forever. Not only did it fail to do that, but WWE also gave up on the idea pretty quickly. In fact, it died a death long before Retribution has. That, dear readers, says everything about this unwanted weekly segment.

Back to Retribution; Mustafa Ali has looked like a clown by claiming that the group are a serious threat, and the whole angle has been a clusterf*ck from the beginning. Somebody needs to explain why mercenaries dedicated to tearing down WWE were even handed contracts, too.
