News has trickled out that Otis (amongst others) will be sent back to WWE's Performance Center for more seasoning. That, if true, is an outright disaster for the guy. After all, Mr. 'Body By Steak' was one of the hottest stories of WWE's summer, and won the Money In The Bank briefcase in May.

Then, nothing.

The problem with annual gimmicks like MITB is that WWE's creative powers never seem to have a concrete plan ahead of time. It's like someone said, 'Hey, why not Otis?' and Vince McMahon shrugged, nodded then made the call to book it. Beyond that, management blatantly had no clue how to properly present the midcard funny man as a credible World Title threat.

Thus, he dwindled in importance post-Mandy Rose romance until dropping the briefcase to The Miz. Now, he's being told he needs to learn how to work - that's quite the drop off for somebody who seemed to be a nailed-on Universal Title underdog story.
