10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Aleister Black

2. WWE Life Left Him Depressed

WWE would probably like everyone to believe that they're one big happy family, and that working for the company is a dream come true. In some cases, that's accurate, but Aleister Black revealed something else of note during that aforementioned Twitch stream.

Namely, that WWE life left him depressed last year.

Black had been promised a tag-team run alongside Kevin Owens before plans (as they often do) changed overnight. Aleister turned heel on KO instead, and the pair ended up feuding before Owens bolted to SmackDown for a Universal Title tilt against Roman Reigns. That left Black cold, both as a character and as a man.

He fell into a mental slump and struggled to think positively. WWE's plans were all over the place, and that lack of cohesive support made Black question why things were going so badly wrong for him. Vince McMahon wouldn't like to hear an ex-employee speak so openly about fragile mental health.
