10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Bray Wyatt

5. The Wyatt Swamp Fight

Oh dear.

Cinematic delirium took over pro wrestling in 2020. Classics like WrestleMania 36's twin 'Boneyard' and 'Firefly Fun House' matches (hey, maybe that was the last time 'Fun House' didn't suck) had everybody on Twitter buzzing about this pandemic-friendly trope. So, typically, WWE kept on pounding the idea until it was dust.

Few were as crap as the 'Wyatt Swamp Fight' from Extreme Rules 2020. Bray and Braun Strowman stumbled around the place trading routine blows - that was interspersed with more Sister Abigail stuff, Wyatt turning back into his old 'Eater Of Worlds' persona and erm...Braun drowning his old cult leader in the lake.

Except not really. Surprise!

Logic was never a strong suit of these cinematic diversions, but this was ridiculous. Last summer's 'Swamp Fight' was a total miss from beginning to end, and it outright failed to charm the pants off anybody watching. What's that old saying about flogging a dead horse?
