10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Christian

Standing atop a ladder at Extreme Rules 2011, Christian looked like he was losing his mind as he clutched the World Heavyweight Title in his hands. Below, his best friend glanced up with tears filling his eyes. For both Edge and Christian, this was a moment to savour.

Filling in for the retired Edge against Alberto Del Rio was a chance for Christian to show WWE that he belonged in the main event pack. The match was awesome too, and fans went wild when Christian pulled down the belt and celebrated with his buddy.

The next week, Randy Orton was booked to obliterate Christian's elation and beat him for the title.

As if that wasn't depressing enough, WWE turned him heel (when everybody in the crowd wanted to root for him) and cast Christian as a desperate cheat who would use any trick in the book to beat Orton. Though the pair had a fun feud, it's notable that WWE chose to ruin what should have been one of the year's most emotional babyface moments.
