After competing in the singles ranks for a few months, Damien Sandow would eventually align with Cody Rhodes, as Team Rhodes Scholars. The duo would give Team Hell No a few tag title scares over the winter months, but would eventually come up short. After briefly splitting amicably the two reunited to feud with Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai).

The Bella Twins and the Funkadactyls were also involved in this beef, and a mixed-gender tag team match was booked for WrestleMania 29. The big night came, the big night went, and the eight-person tag was nowhere to be seen. As John Cena and The Rock embraced at the end of the show, a small number in the crowd wondered out loud as to where this match was.

As it transpired, the match was cut from the show due to time constraints. The match would take place the next night on RAW, but it did so with a feeling of frustration permeating every move within it. Sandow didn't go as far as beginning a #DaysToRedemption a la Brodus Clay, but it was yet another setback for the Enlightened One.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
