10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Roman Reigns

5. The Dog Food Nonsense

Apologies in advance to anybody who had somehow managed to squeeze this gloomy rubbish from their brain boxes before reading. Roman's 2019 rivalry with 'King' Corbin was seemingly a catalyst for change in Reigns' own mind, and no wonder. It served up some of the most painful crud ever aired.

Painful segments like Corbin introducing his own "Big Dog" mascot (to almost complete silence) and Roman getting smeared in dog food as SmackDown went off the air insulted fans. It certainly didn't help that few were actively rooting for Roman anyway, meaning Baron's heel antics fell flat.

SmackDown hasn't dipped to this low level since, which everybody should be grateful for. A beaten and humiliated Roman covered in Pedigree Chum (or whatever it was) might've been tolerable had either side been receiving the crowd reactions they were supposed to.

Sadly, Roman was on his way out as a baby, and people just wanted the 'King' Corbin pain to stop.
